Privacy & beta terms
Last updated: 14 September 2026. Billquiet is an early-stage invoice-checking project in beta. Billquiet is a service brand, not a licensed accounting practice.
Local check
The initial CSV analysis runs in your browser memory. Billquiet does not send the CSV to its server unless you choose Save report. Refreshing or leaving the page clears the unsaved data. The host may process technical connection logs.
When you save
Signing in uses ChatGPT. We use your site-specific user ID to keep reports separate. On Save, the CSV is sent over HTTPS and analyzed again on the server. We retain the generated findings and report metadata in the hosting platform database; the original CSV is not retained. Findings can contain supplier names, invoice references, amounts and payment IDs. Do not include bank account numbers, card data, passwords or unnecessary personal data.
Reports remain until you delete them or the beta closes. You can delete reports from My reports. Feedback is deleted with its report. Limited payment records may be retained for accounting and dispute handling where required; the payment processor retains its own records.
How information is used
We use saved information to deliver the requested report, protect accounts, handle feedback and measure service usage. Service analytics distinguish sample reports from real uploads. No report is sent to an external language model in this version. We do not sell ledger data or use it to train a public model.
Providers and requests
Hosting, database and authentication are supplied through ChatGPT Sites and its infrastructure providers. When paid checkout is enabled, Stripe processes payment information on its own hosted checkout. Business data may be processed outside your country; no specific data-residency region is promised for this beta.
Privacy and service contact: hello@billquiet.com. Use this contact to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a privacy complaint. You may also contact your applicable data protection authority.
Email support
Email is handled through Google Workspace. Jamie is the name of our virtual customer-success assistant. Email automation is not yet active, and we do not promise immediate replies. Do not email raw ledgers; start with a description or anonymized example.
Scope of service
Only submit data you are authorized to process. Findings are review suggestions, not financial, legal or tax advice. Confirm them against original documents and bank records before making a claim or changing a payment. The service does not guarantee identification of all errors or any recovery. The beta may change or be discontinued; retain your downloaded reports.
Paid sales remain disabled until the merchant and payment configuration are ready. Any paid offer will show its final price and applicable terms before payment. Nothing here limits mandatory legal rights.
